Anger can be poetic, but not like this. It would have been much more relatable without the low blows and crass language. Could also do with a warning on it for the word "shit."

I agree with everything you say. It is not too late. Republicans will take the senate and congress this fall then in 2024 DJT will triumphantly return to his rightful place of leadership. Maybe then we can shove these last two years of shame and loss behind us.

I am sad that people seem to be losing their humanity. Even one is so angry and violent and offended all the time and everyone loves to point fingers! This is a really well written poem speaking the sad truth

when you have a Republican party with several members of the very wealthy who don't vote with the party and limit what conservatives want to get done because it would affect their perks and power, I don't know what we can do.
Did you know that the chairman of the Republican National Committee is Romney's niece?
The conservative party doesn't stick together. I just hope there are enough fed up people who will overwhelmingly make their demands known. Every day Soros and pals take us down another few notches. Biden is not running this country. He just does what he's told - if he can remember it.
BUT, back to your poem (sorry, I got off track), it is very good and gets a 6 from me.

A very brave piece. The way you were able to take all of the disasters of the Biden era and make a very potent , poetic protest song about them was remarkable. Thought the way you used hey as a refrain for your angry verses really served your poetry well. Keep up the great work.

Well written. Our country is a mess these days. I was raised in the fifties, and it was a whole different world. People stayed married, kids had respect, and we worked for a living. The whole world, not just this country, is a mess.

Thank you for reading my poem. I grew up in the 60s and even with the unrest about Vietnam, it was a better world with better values. Thanks again for reading. :)

I think it's been going on a long time, but I do worry about how little respect people have for the police these days. It's a terrible job where it seems impossible to do the right thing, and you get criticised no matter what. Just because a tiny few step over the line, people think it's okay to ignore the law, which is just insane.
