This is a well-written and well-presented entry. However, the font size works against your message being prominent. I would enlarge and bold the text. It is lost and overpowered by the large and unusual visual. The visual fits well. Good luck in the contest.

I suppose it's inevitable that, as we use up more of our time, we become more aware of it passing, and feel as though we need to make best use of what's ahead. I love your shaping - the funnelling of life into a steadily smaller space. Time is both something we made up and the most precious thing we have.

Beautifully put.

Hello Jen,
I agree, time is the most important thing,
for we cannot replace as we can with most other things.
But we can make the most of what time we have.
Best wishes and good luck in the contest.

This is certainly true that time is the most important thing for we really need it. We can't live without it. Excellent work! No mistakes found. Your eight words poem speaks volumes.

Your contest entry was well thought out, Jen. I enjoyed
reading it. The art choice is perfect for your well chosen
words. You are right about time. Whether it is early in one's
life or in later life, time is one of those abstract 'things'
that's difficult to grasp. However as people age, it becomes
more apparent it's moving faster.
Best wishes in the contest, Jan

That's the thing many do not have enough of, or so they feel. You have expressed that well in picture and word. Your theme resonates with me as time "waits for no man."
Good luck!
Tina

I agree with your words here and sometimes it seems to run out too fast and I struggle to get everything done before it's bedtime! A poignant write Jen, love Dolly x

Thanks Dolly. That thought suddenly came to me that I have everything I need except time. X

I admire your eight word poem. It is so true. The older I get, the more I value time I once sped through so casually. Thank you for sharing this, and best wishes to you.

Yes, time is of the essence. The older you become, the faster those days seem to fly by. Children can not wait to get a certain age, 16, 18, or 21. Next thing I knew, I was 69. Wow, however, there is not one thing I can do about it. This was the way God planned things. Thank you for sharing.

Time. Each time I see it I recall a song from the seventies by the Chamber Brothers, not that it has anything to do with my saying well done. What else can one say about an eight-word poem and still have his review accepted (150 characters)
