We are always too late. It seems we are always behind schedule, if there is a schedule. My only regrets are the things I didn't heed when I was able. Now, my next stage is death and I had better get caught up.

This is a good senryu poem. The syllable count is correct. The message is clearly stated. The font and visual could all be larger for the readers. However, the visual fits perfectly. Good luck in the contest.

This is an excellent senryu for the contest
with a very good philosophical theme.
Wisdom is often difficult to see when youth,
age gives us perspective.
