Thank you so much Ric. I had a pretty good childhood and it didn't take much to get me excited. I doubt if children today would get so thrilled over something so simple. Still I'm pretty thrilled with the six stars. Thanks for making my day.

Yeah, this is a heart-rendering story and my heart went out to the monkey doing tricks for coins. I am sure you enjoyed seeing a monkey for the first time but I felt for the monkey who had no choice but to dance and sing for his supper! A natural monkey doesn't wear clothes and do tricks. It lives in its natural environment where other monkeys live and play with each other.
I am happy you had a good time though and it bodes well for your grandparents that they took you out in the evening away from the crowds. I hope the monkey at some time or other gets to go back to his natural ways.

Ahh Jesse, you make me feel bad for monkey. I agree most wild animal would rather be in the wild, and feel I sorry for many zoo animals. Monkeys are smart and social animals that seem to like people. They act a lot like children and seem to want to please and have make people laugh. I'm not sure monkeys don't enjoy
being people pleasers, but I could be wrong. Thanks for the review and comments.

This is a sweet story about a time with your grandparents. The font is large enough and easy to read. The story had interesting and descriptive details.
