A very fitting message for a one line poem contest! The slightly jarring brevity actually reinforced the point really well .
I think you've done a great job conveying yourself clearly without letting any unnecessary words escape onto the page :)

Yep - I've definitely been on both sides of that situation myself. The biggest challenge, I think, is knowing your audience. One person's joke is another's bullying. I've found in work situations, especially meetings, if I sit quietly and nod while people are speaking, they end up addressing me as though I know what they're talking about - which is sometimes true and other times not!
