I don't know. I like what you wrote but in my neck of the woods, daffodils come out not long after the new year begins. Ours burst through the standing snows.

I don't think they would survive Minnesota winter temps, it can be as low as 30 below here. I've only really seen them in spring and early summer. Thanks so much for reading my poem. :)

This 3-5-3, Dainty Dancers, has the right setup and catches the daffodils doing a jitterbug as the wind breeze through to set the tone.

Wow, the way you painted this in my mind was stunningly beautiful. Honestly, this kind of took my breath away. I will take this imagery into my dreams. Thank you for this beautiful piece! Good luck in the contest!
And may your pen continue to be blessed,

This was a great tribute to nature, daffodils in particular. It did bring to mind a ballet. Thank you for sharing your poem here, and best wishes to you.

It's a beautiful nature 3-5-3 poem. The syllable count is on point. The font is large and easily read. It's colorful, AND the flowers moves as if in the wind!! Kudos on a well-written and superbly presented poem. I voted for you!
