Such a beautiful poem Janet, beautiful, though sad, but the final two stanzas bring it all together and seal the story with boundless hope, as we turn to the one who died to make things right.
I am forced to eliminate quotation marks when using my iPad because somehow they become question marks or other unrecognizable symbols when posted on FanStory, but I know you know those are your beautiful words, not mine. Thank you for your pure and lovely poem. I am so sorry for the loss of this young man. Thank you for sharing your touching poem.

The picture and presentation was a delight to see.
I loved your message. Parents are the Children's first role models a very important part of a healthy life.
It's a shame that we have so many school shootings. My son was in one when he was 7 years old. We need gun law reforms.

I understand your distress,and this sort of life, lived in anxiety and fear, is an impossible situation. I am so sorry for the loss of your friend's son, because he didn't "fit in". Where is the acceptance of difference, and the celebration of our diversity?!! Well written poem - thank you for sharing it.

So sad that a young man died. The loss to the family makes it difficult for them to recover. My cousin was 17.
Faith in God and the hope of being together one day is needed.

Well written poem. Interesting theme, very truthful. I would guess that just about everyone would agree with most of it. It has a nice rhythm, the rhyme scheme works well, too. Impressive!
