I like rhyming poems and this one flows nice and, of course, we possessed writers can relate. We love to write and thus document our feelings along the road of life. Enjoyed it.

It's interesting to have a light-hearted poem about invoking your muse. I'm no expert, but the muses always struck me as somewhat solemn and grand, and reducing them to some kind of merchandisers is funny. I would change the ending of this excellent poem by adding a 'but - ' to line 14, and ending with 15 and 16 running, 'No muse needed to do what you gotta do/ Truth is, your best writing's gotta come from you.'
However you react, Jesse - keep that six-gun in your holster. Frank

Very good with the rhyme scheme, but the meter needs a little tweaking. Poems about ones muse are always interesting to read. You have done a good job in that respect.

-I like the transition from waves to the word splash.
-A good concluding verse with the idea of
"shopping for your muse." That would be

You did a rally nice job on this piece. I found this to be very relatable at this particular point in my life where I am trying to focus more on writing for my enjoyment and seeing that it's making my writing come a lot easier and yielding a higher reward.
