Most people here seem to think a haiku is just a rehash of a 5-7-5 syllable poem... and there doesn't seem to be any integrity in disqualifying non-compliant entries.
I take yours as a creative piss-take. Mother nature will weep in vain. Clever imagery.

Thank you, Lisa. Yeah, it was really just me yanking some chains again. Lol. Plus, I had the itch to play in my photo art program. I don't know why they have a haiku contest but let all this other stuff fly. Who knows? I hope all is well in your corner of the world.

If we follow all the elements the grand range of 'experts' believe should be part of a haiku, we're left with about four possible combinations of words. I say if it looks like one and feels like a wry observation, that's good enough for me. Yours definitely does that.
