I like the picture of colors. I love colors too. Life can be colorful too.
You have described colors well and associated with what you feel too. My favorite color is red. It may sound silly but to me, it rings me luck. In reality, it sometimes brings me luck. In fact, it is the confidence that I have when I wear something red.

It is not just you who feels this way. I understand how you feel. Sometimes I don't want to get out of bed. You can take a shower. In the shower, I seem to do most of my thinking.
When I write, I release so much from my mind. I have written about so much that has not been revealed. Getting up is something we have to force ourselves to do. Gathering energy is difficult.
You will gain energy once you start moving around. It doesn't matter how short it is. Walk around your house. Inside or outside.
In one moment, I am elated, and the next, I am depressed. My hopes will be high, then I'll feel like digging a hole. My mind changes with the flip of a dime. The mind can become a lonely place.
Thank you for sharing. Take care. Writing has helped me. I have been writing daily since December, 2021.

You may have bipolar disorder which sometimes gets the best of You but not herein as I found this piece rather understandable even though it was a mishmash of this and that which I willingly submit to.

Ramona, I suffer from bipolar also, so I can definitely relate to your poem. When im manic I am truly happy, but when im depressed my life is rough. I tried to commit suicide 6 years ago. Even though my mind sometimes experiences inner chaos, or blackness as you describe it, I want very much to live my boring uneventful life. I hope you find joy in writing, and in the small things of life.

Cindy, to a fellow traveler. You understand perfectly where I am coming from. I too have tried to take my own life in the past and yes I struggle with the dark. My writing does sustain me through and thankfully most days are good as you say. Thank you for the compliment. I take refuge in my writing. It gets me through the bad days and I write joyfully on the good ones. I?ve read your work and you too are an excellent writer so I am flattered, your review means a lot. Blessings to you as well.
