The picture is colorful and bright. Life can be just as bright and colorful. It can be people's choice. Yet no matter how bright life can be, it has ups and downs like weather.
You described the weather very well. I am most impressed by "The difference of each snowflake as they fall,
Sad sound of the whippoorwill's mating call.
What beautiful sounds and sight,
Whether awake in the day, or asleep at night."

This is a lovely poem applauding the wonders of God's creations. There is so much beauty in our world and we are trying so hard to destroy it. Will the worlds leaders ever wake up and pass so laws that might save the planet? God Bless you. I hope you are feeling better, Willie. Nancy:)

This is a vividly descriptive poem. I love how you covered more than just sight beauty words. The spray of water, the dew, (touch words) the sounds of whippoorwill's mating call. The visual works well with the post. I love the text centered on the visual, but the text is too small. If you increase the size, the text may be better read and more prominent. If you click edit poem and highlight the text, then press Ctrl and the plus + sign at the same time the text will enlarge quickly. Also, the word mountaintop is one compound word. This is a good poem.

What a beautiful harnassing of the different elements in the natural world that remind us that beauty is objective. We been given a living canvas from which to draw wisdom and metaphors. I couldn't help thinking while reading this of the other element of beauty missing from the poem but I think, implied: the smiling face of the observer. Well done!

No, there is no end to the beauty of God's works. His masterpieces were created and presented to us humans. Free for all. And look what man has and is doing to all of his gifts. Pollutions, garbage-manmade viruses. It is a crying shame. Thank you for posting a great awareness story.

Thank you for composing this lovely poem. Sometimes with all the human tragedies and gizmos, we forget the simple and natural beauty that exists--cost-free.
I did notice the mixed usage of plurals and singulars in the next-to-the-last line. It might read a little smoother if it read as 'sounds and sights.'
