Wow, those "snowy paws" look huge! If they were black, they'd be boxing gloves. He looks majestic and intelligent. I guess the "plume" was his tail? You covered all the antics of a cat in your poem! Best wishes in the contest! Loved those pictures!!

He definitely thinks he's a boxer, that's for sure. Yes - we call his tail a plume as it's so big and fluffy :-)

Thank you for sharing your friend and this contest entry with us. I have two ginger tabbies. They were litter mates and re rescued them from a drainage ditch when they were only a few weeks old. They're not 10 years old. Everything you wrote about Freddie could apply to them. I enjoyed reading and good luck with the contest.

I've always had cats - can't get enough of them :-). We also have an elderly pair (15 years old - black and black and white) who get very grumpy with Freddie when he's jumping all over them! It felt good to write something a bit lighter, lol
