Your words ring true, time does go past so fast so we need to live meaningfully with the gift of the present. Thoughtful words. Wishing you well for the contest.

The author makes a profound statement in this one line poem. Thank
you for the author's notes - great advice! The poem flows and connects well. The artwork goes well with the theme and words of this poem.

The objective correlative of your work reminisces the unequivocal truth of the passing away of "Today" and the ushering in of "Tomorrow" as the only factor that will unfailingly predispose "Yesterday."
The work highlights the metamorphosis of "Today" into "Tomorrow" and its prompt and
immediate designation as "Yesterday."
The work earns its texture through its effective use of rhymes and imagery.
Exceptional work. Keep the flag flying.

Hi, Tom; this should be entered officially in the book of short sayings; if there is such a book, lol. I read it three times to absorb it. Masterful one-line poem. Best, JohnC

Thank you J.C. It began longer and was parse to become more sparse until I ended with a philosophical utterance, me thinks.

Hey Tom! Boy! You nailed that one! And if we could ever find out where all that precious time goes so that we could go and retreive some of it, then having it go so fast wouldn't be so bad! LOL Well, I can dream...
Thanks for sharing!

Last retrieve for me was a fishing hook covered in seaweed.

In a One Line Poem contest entry, I think, as I wish you win the contest, for I find, your statement is true, imaginative and innovatively expressed, I'm not sure, if this is a poem or verse in a line; well said, well done, post god speed more, share post not 4 self-joy-pride but 4 God and readers worldwide Alcreator Litt Dear (DR)

Time is a cyclic thing, isn't it? I enjoyed following the loop of you one line poem - it's clever and (if I may extrapolate) also speaks to how we can waste much time considering time passing or worry we're running out of it, instead of enjoying the moments right in front of us and just being 'here' - great fun :-)

Wow, such a philosophical poem: "Today will be gone before Tomorrow becomes Yesterday." Socrates will die of envy. Thank you for sharing and good luck with your writings.

I thought the challenge to brief for me, so I wrote a sentence and then parsed, word by word until that was all I had left. It is philosophical, isn't it?
