Sometimes when I read the news, I feel the same way, I cannot understand or explain what our world is turning into. Too much violence and our young people are being taught all the wrong things in grammar school all the way through our universities.
Like you, I do not harbor any fear of leaving. I worry about and will miss my loved ones, but also I look forward to being reunited with my lost ones.

Thank you, irish. I have been waiting for you. I will soldier on. not sure how much I will write. I pray Allen is right. I know he is, about most, but some is new to me. It warms my heart. I look at my 10 grandchildren ages 0 - 12, and I wonder and fear what kind of life they will have. If I were a newlywed I would choose not to have children unless this world goes through a drastic change.
As you for dear Barbara, please dont' be too ready to go. Your life knowledge and expertise is most valuable, especially to your family.
In closing, I say ... rejoice that you lived when you did--really.

At 76 I find I am glad to be at this end of life instead of a young person trying to find a way in this messed-up world. I feel sorry for the young people and babies just beginning life. This is well written and I agree with every word. Nicely done.
