Your story is very moving. No one can feel what Your emotional attachment is. Only you, yourself could understand how it feels. The disappointment, hopelessness, anger... your jealous sister must have her own reason. Let it be the past.

I am glad you will meet your father in heaven. The reader wonders why he did not keep in touch with you, it is hard to understand people's actions sometimes. Your story is well written and holds the reader's interest. Excellent writing and I believe many can relate to your story.

I do not wish to enter into an argument or get involved in a serious debate with you. That being said, I must say that I believe in the Bible's assertion that only a limited number of humans will be going to heaven, the majority of the dead and saved humans will either be resurrected to life on earth on the ones alive at the time of the end will remain here on the earth. Death of course will done away with and there will be no more dying. It is entirely possible that your reunion will take place here on Earth, which should not be a barrier to the reunion itself. Good luck to you. I have a similar experience to yours, but I am my father's only child.

I'm so sorry for these multiple losses! Not only did you not have your father, everyone seemed to be keeping him away from you. Perhaps your half-sister was jealous of your "pretend father" and her real life relationship wasn't as good. Thanks for sharing. Hope you do well in the contest!

I found this profoundly sad. You want a relationship with a dad who I could had no heart. He walked away without looking back. I also see that his daughter in Florida has his indifference. You are hurting at this rejection.
