From what I gather even though this is fiction, a person
belei3eves as the character writing this letter wouldn't write
it. In the first place if he doesn't believe, then it seems odd
he would take the time to write and hope for an answer. Your
letter is very contradictory. A non-believer asks God for
strength in dealing with his family. That seems contradictory
to your whole letter. I rate 5 due to no errors etc. in the writing
and the fact everyone has free speech.

Freewill is the cause of so much pain and destruction.
God gave Adam and Eve freewill and they CHOSE FREELY to eat from the tree of knowledge despite God had told them not to. They thought that they didn't need God's loving guidance so God decide to give them and their descendent time to prove who was right .
They were sent out of the garden of Eden.
They would have to work the land, multiply snd eventually die.
And so the test began.
Each one of us has freewill to choose to seek God's love and guidance or to have other goals :
our leaders seek wealth and power and to obtain them they will exploit people even wage wars.
Other People seek fame and think owing material riches will make them happy.
Etc.
God does not intervene because he wants to prove not by words but by facts that MANKIND without His loving guidance is destined to fall.
Of course God could have denied us FREEWILL but then we would have been like slaves, robots .. HE wanted HIS most cherished creation to love him freely.
God or not , according to me, people should just simply be respectful and kind towards each another because that's the right way to behave.
Also, spreading good , makes us happy which is what karma is all about. The good you deal out returns as does the bad.
Your choice which path you want to take.
The six is for offering much food for thought.

Actually tomorrow is the first day of Summer.
Spring has been too wet .. and yet now we have a water issue in Piemonte ( we I am )
Many municipality (?) have water restrictions starting three days ago ( sign).
you can?t use water from 23.00 to 6.00.
You can imagine hotel, restaurant and bar owners are not happy.
The south of Italy has always had a water issue ( is more African clime) but up north NO.
Our government has been sleeping in the last 15 years.. water must be saved even in mountain areas.
I hope you and your family are faring well.

Jesus spoke of His Father. I don't think there's any doubt that God is masculine. Instead of polling a random audience such as FS, why not speak to a clergyman who can explain it far better than anyone. You may not believe in God, but He believes in you.
