I enjoyed this flash, as this is one of my favorite genres to read and write. They tend to read awkwardly due to the word restrictions, however this does not.
You have told a complete story in 75 words, not an easy feat, well done! Good luck in the contest.

Thank you for your review and the comments. I appreciate hearing that the story does not read as if it came out of a machine gun-in awkward spurts. As you said, it is not easy to do these flash stories. I Had to spend a lot of time reworking it. Your comments make me feel that the time it took was well worth it. Thank you again.

Thanks so much, Shirley. I appreciate the stars and comments.
My son did that jelly bean trick. He was a very selfish little guy.
I just got through reviewing one of your works. May you also enjoy your evening.

ROFL! "Kids do the darndest things," oh, yes they do. This reminds me of when I was a little boy and my mother would give me a candy bar and tell me to split it with my little brother. I would break it in half. But of course, the two halves were never equal. So, I'd bite off the longer one to make them the same size before giving my brother his piece. Thanks for sharing.

Well, you were a little stinker, weren't you? Did your brother ever catch on?
Thanks so much for the review and rating.

My brother was four years younger, but I finally figured out it was wrong and stopped doing it. Hope you're having a great weekend!

Haha, eeww! What a fun contest entry, Leather.
This sounded just like something a young kid
would do. You did a great job telling this little
story in the space allowed.
Best wishes in the contest, Jan

This short story gave me a good chuckle. That sounds like something a kid might do. The artwork you added is perfect for the subject of your wiirting. I wish you worlds of luck in the contest. Nicely done.

Lol! I was anticipating something like that but I didn't know who the culprit would be! You used your allotment of 75 words well to set the scene, create curiosity and deliver the punchline! Best wishes in the contest!

Thank you, Iyenochka, for your review, comments, and good wishes. Flash fiction cuts out a lot of verbiage but still offers a major challenge. Thanks again.
