Glad I had a six left for this magnificent piece of poetic art. I love the theme, the rhymes, the meter... All so well done and appropriately creative. There is nothing to be done to make this any better. It is just exactly right as it is. MM

A great poem that tells two different perspective we can view things. It is great that you tell the nature side in red font and the curated creations of humanity in black font. Maybe with the side of the curated creations of humanity to add another paragraph about global issues or/and freedom. Just to even it out.

Again, an intriguing premise. Yes, there is a spark of creativity in humans, but nature is really the ultimate artist. Plus, as you point out, our creativity may be for our own agenda. I really enjoyed this poem!

Thanks so much, Sam :-). Exactly - human art is smaller and briefer than nature's, and ultimately told from a very limited perspective :-).

Hi Mike. Who's to say. Art is the beholder of the eye so it obviously differ from one person to another. But often we find that we recognise the same be thing in what be we're seeing. I really liked this. Good luck in the contest. Ulla:)))

Mike, this is a fine entry for this contest, good luck. The creative contrast you achieved with the writing of the first two verses and then the final verse is extremely well done and then aided visually by your presentation. Excellent work. Terry.

Thanks, Terry :-). I'm glad you saw the contrast in the final stanza for what it was! Really appreciate it.

A well constructed poem which clearly shows the paradox of the enormous difference between nature's beauty and glory and the mess man has made of his own efforts. The different font colours show clearly the turning point. I love your lyrical descriptions of natures's artwork and music in the first two stanzas. A virtual six for this. Sorry I have nine left to offer.

When people open the page of a historical event, they not only found the glory but also the ignominy, and
the inevitable, hateful hegemony as you mention in your writing.

I loved your clever rhyme scheme. Congratulations on having this recognized. I can see why it was. I don't know what we should trust, but it's a nice thing about which to think. Thanks for sharing.
