To begin, I feel that being able to tell such a story through poetry is already a challenge. Followed by the use of rhyme, flow, and rhythm is something I find myself only dreaming of and here, is it executed so excellently. For your competition, I wish you all the best. I like the title blue and black. You are smart in using these two colors in your wrong. It clearly shows two opposite behaviors or feelings.

You have a delicious use of words here that is great to read out loud. I like the mention of the dark side of our muse, something we do not always acknowledge. "like petals of an orchard on the breeze" is a perfect line that creates clear imagery.
