Excellent entry for the My Favorite Things writing prompt contest. Your poem is a great description of things you enjoy.
Great presentation and imagery. It flows well with descriptive words that paint a clear poetic vision..
Good luck in the contest.

Lots of wonderful things in this little poem. Many of which are mine as well. You start right out with perhaps the best set of things "sunsets, sunrises and skies all afire." Things we can never alter but that will always be there for us to enjoy.
Good job

I can see this prompt has inspired writers to be eloquently praising of rather varied things. Your version is well constructed and gives a delightful glimpse of your personal favourites that keep you sane when problems arise.

The author's words are engaging, positive, comforting, interesting,
and creative. I thought about how we can uplift our spirits by
doing some of our favorite things. This author states that throughout
this poem. I love the last line of this poem! Great Poem!

My favourite part of this is the end about your favourite things keeping you sane, because it made me smile. Liked the tacos line. I might have put: "Time spent with family, love that they bring" (missed out 'The'), because it seems to me to flow better.

By George, I think she has it. Let's try, "The rain in Spain falls mainly on the Plain." Nice job following the instructions. Good luck. ......................................

What a lovely set of alternative lyrics! This was great fun to read and I like that you turned it more serious for the last stanza. Nicely done.

Focusing on the good things in life and ignoring the hiccups along the way is a magical way to live and we often cause our own stress in life by our mishandling of situations, much enjoyed, an uplifting poem, love Dolly x

A lovely echo of the famous song from The Sound of Music. I guess we all have our own lists of favourite things. There are many on yours that are on mine, too!
