A wry rejoinder to a query based on a theory. Not bad at all! It helps to have a basis in a language with such a large vocabulary and the ability to use it effectively.

So, good on, mate.

Thank you, my friend. A fifty-word flash fiction is a tough nut to crack in just a few short hours. I could only do it tongue in cheek with a little bit of sardonicism for those of us who see the universe as beauty from the Divine without considering the complexity of matter. Not that it matters. This is a good one, Yard! It started out as such a serious topic, made more so by Albert's scientific analysis. The proctor's response is so deadpan funny! Good luck in the contest.

You're most welcome, Yard. It is tough writing a whole story in just 50 words for sure.

I loved this story in just fifty words. Flash fiction can be tricky, I know. I got a kick out of this. Thank you for sharing it here, and best wishes to you.

Yard,

You have me a few chuckles here because I think of such things all the time. There is so little we really know. So many hypotheses and formulae, but so little absolute proof. Great job.

You are welcome. Very good for an off-the-cuff write. But therein often lies genius. :-)

Very clever! I chuckled at the proctor's reply, especially since I had no clue what Albert was saying! I wonder if his head hurt from carrying around so much knowledge (?). Good luck in the contest!

Very amusing. Can you just imagine being his teacher in his teen years? He was kicked out of school at six for not being able to read. Best of luck in the dribble flash fiction contest.

Hehe, I liked this. Yes, it's tempting to say that Einstein had it easy. This is a well thought out dribble flash, and I hope it will do well. Ulla:)))

This is cleverly funny. I didn't pay attention to the fact that Albert was speaking, until the end when the proctor told 'Einstein' to sit down. Great twist. Best wishes in the contest.
