Good poem and very relatable. I think the second line is 6 syllables and not 7. You may want to revise it before the contest closes. I typically use a dictionary to be sure. The black dot indicates where a syllable ends. If no dots, it's a one syllable word. Usually adding a S doesn't make another syllable. Good luck in the contest.

Aww! This warms my heart. I love to watch happy couples. Husbands, opening car doors, wrapping a jacket around a lady's shoulders, or rescuing her from a heavy load. I wish we had more of that in this world. It becomes harder to witness every day. (Shame)
