Alexandra came across as strong, very strong, but cool. I was a little surprised that one who had known Cord since elementary school was so agreeable to having him be there. I was shocked that the four women would settle on $100,000 at the high end. I'd have figured a quarter mil and then settle on no less than $100,000. Of course, I'm going by the settlements we hear about in the high-profile cases. The important thing is Alexandra comes across as so confident. You've done well with this chapter, Barbara!

Alexandra came across as strong, very strong, but cool. I was a little surprised that one who had known Cord since elementary school was so agreeable to having him be there. I was shocked that the four women would settle on $100,000 at the high end. I'd have figured a quarter mil and then settle on no less than $100,000. Of course, I'm going by the settlements we hear about in the high-profile cases. The important thing is Alexandra comes across as so confident. You've done well with this chapter, Barbara!

This lawyer is ready to do her thing. That is good. I wasn't aware that you someone could consent to sex under pressure and it would still be considered rapt. I]d sure I lot of high school girls ate under a lot of pressure or at least to be. Maybe more go along with it willing today.

This is written well, but again, I think it leans heavy into area of Writer's personal projections. It is your fictional story so, it is your right. This will definitely grab the emotions of the more feminist minded women and men. But, those thinking logically will have issues with it. I would go into them, but I don't want you think my review is a 'hit' piece.

I enjoyed this post. It was good to see Ali in action. She seemed to have forgotten she was a lawyer until she became aware of the problem these women were having with Pat. She lets them they have a legal right to sue. She's right about Pat preferring to settle out of court. He has his precious repetition to protect. To me, he gets off easy at $50,000. He's caused the women considerable emotional damage as well as attempted to hurt them financially. Hope your trip was pleasant. judi

What a disgusting man this Pat character is. Any man who would so such a thing to any woman make me sick. As a son, a man with two sisters, two daughters, and a grand daughter not to mention cousins and nieces. I would be very much motivated to destroy such a man, by any means necessary.

I like the way this is going, Barbara. It's interesting to hear what the sexual assault laws are in Texas, assuming you've done your research for this. Alexandra is a much more confident person when she's in her own element, doing what she does best. I look forward to following this case.
