This is beautiful Willie! It just so happened to come when I needed a little extra of this message that you talk about, but it isn't always easy. So I read your poem a couple more times as the spirit moves more with hearing His Words more. Beautifully written and God Bless!

I understand, Lilly. Police officers have been under attack by the liberals and news media, they fearful of charges being brought against them. I was a police officer in San Diego for 30 years, I am not now nor have I ever been afraid of the cop haters. My job was to save lives, at the risk of my own. That's what I would have done.

Good poem! The rhyme scheme is consistent throughout. It doesn't seem forced. The visual fit, but if you can see the name of the company, it is probably a copyright violation. I used Getty photos in my debut book, and once you pay for the use and licensing fees the logo is removed. I would probably replace the visual with one from the FanStory collection. Otherwise, well-done.
