In my daily work, supporting construction projects and a countless process that accompany them, we talk of one thing:
The Golden Thread.
It's the core purpose of what we're trying to achieve - the line we draw through the middle of all that process and red tape that's there to remind everyone WHY we're doing it. Every process must link to it in some way.
I realise it's a 'work talk' phrase but you really brought it to mind. Having that purpose, that link that helps us find or remind what the path is...
It's priceless.
This is a brilliant personal essay.
