Lucky Ed wasn't too very lucky this time around. "And got shot in the face." pretty descriptive but it tells a story and gives me the vision I need.

This is witty and funny Epitath. I guess it would be a little dangerous to play a fifth ace. If you believe those western movies, this might have been the way a lot of those boot hill residents found their way into the soil.

Looks like"lucky" finally found his place,
never good to play that extra ace.
Excellent humorous epitaph for the contest,
with good rhymes in the couplets.

Witty! Make sure to check your title. When you copied it from your word processor, some punctuation marks don't work properly. Your epitaph brings up memories of old spaghetti westerns... I can almost smell the gunsmoke. Great job, good luck in the contest.
