Yes! Yes! Yes! You nailed it with this one! In your notes as well as your story. Seeing everyone as only in a green shirt instead of the color of their skin is beautifully written and serves to show how our children and grandchildren can make all the difference in the world! Thank you for pointing out the valuable lesson children can play in our view of ourselves and each other.
Well written and full of life-giving lessons.
Jesse

It is an awesome story, simple yet moving. There is a lot of wisdom in our kids. The problem is, it is often overlooked by adults. I wish you a lot of luck for you and your family :)

That was the best story I've read in a very long time. Children don't see different colours the way most adult people do, which shows us that it's the grown ups that teach them racism. If only they could be taught by their children how to behave. I hope our grandchildren and greats carry on the way your grandson did. What an amazing world this would be. (I'm proud to say mine are like your grandson.) Well done and good luck in the contest. :)) Sandra xx

This is a charming little slice-of-life story that gives me hope for the future of mankind. You did a very good job writing this. The dialogue was realistic and I was engaged from beginning to end. Regards, Lilly

This is a lovely story and I believe in what you say as well. When I see someone, for me colour doesn't come into it. Good luck in the contest and thank you for sharing.

I love this story. Identifying someone by the colour of their shirt rather than the colour of their skin says a world about attitude. We have much to learn from the little ones at times.

A lovely story, a powerful anecdote to support your wish for a better world, a world without prejudice. Yes, listening is important - and so is hearing. We must continue to hope, and believe in t - and we must be involved in the training of our grandchildren to become responsible world citizens. Well done. Best wishes for your entry.

Rightly, your grandson is identifiable for he is the boy in green shirt, there is hope, you believe in; so of the five boys, he is identifiable; well said, well done; post god speed more; positively encouraging editing, negatively not wording, forgiving errors of theist-good authors-writers. This is a lovely story with a truly wonderful message. This is what we should all hope for our grandchildren, although mine are various colors. The darkest child does have a certain amount of anger toward police for pulling him over for driving while Black, but he has managed his anger very well every time so far. If only we could all be color-blind.
