This is a heartfelt and emotional poem. It shows how well you know each grandchild. Do any of them have any bad habits. Your poem show that a grandmother thinks all her grands are perfect.

Oh Joan thank you for reviewing that one. That one I think I might have taken third. I did mine a little different than most, but I didn't show them this because I had written poems throughout the years for everyone in my family including my kids, their spouses, grandkids, siblings, parents and then made a 12x12 book where each got 2 large pages w their poem and pictures of them as they grew that related to what I wrote in the poem for them. I named the book, "Expressing Love for my Family- with my Prayers, Poems and Pictures". And our latest family photo in the middle. This was my biggest bucket list item and I finished, had a copy made for everyone in the book and gave it for Christmas last year. There were many tears in the room as they opened, even the grandbabes..... Thanks Joan and it was so sweet of you to go back and review this.

There's my smiley girl! How sweet of you to go and look at my portfolio, and even sweeter to look at my grandbabes! But thank you as it's more of an honor just to have you look. Before I came to FS I wrote for a Christian woman's online site, but for a long time before that, I wrote poems for everyone in my family; Glen, the kids and my parents from way back, but I continued for all the grandbabes, 2 sons in-law, daughter in-love, siblings, prayer poems, my best friend and a few other family ones. Then when I was done w all of them, I started going through pictures that would go with every individual poem and had a 12x12 book made where everyone got 2 large pages with their poem and their pictures. It was very expensive but Glen didn't care as it was my biggest bucket list item. They were all in the same book. Then I bought18 copies. One for each. I do have to say they are beautiful and now they will all have them for years to come and pass down to other generations. When I was done, I was so relieved but had to keep writing and here I am. I was just thinking if maybe I could send you a picture of it sometime if you ever wanted to do something like that for your family.
Anyway sorry for going on and on, but the kids were so appreciative.
But thank you my sweet Karenina as I am so blessed by you and your thoughtfulness!

Oh yes, you are so right Bill. They have already been warned that for the rest of my life, they will be cherished and loved by me, and you know how everyone always has a saying of I love you to the moon and back or through eternity and all of the others? Well once when my youngest daughter was little and I was rocking her and singing to her, she said "Mommy how much do you love me?" And I had to come up with an answer really fast, and I said, "my love is like a heart shaped rocket, that goes around the world or universe, but it never ever stops." Thank you so very much Earl. I haven't yet but I will. However I wrote poems for everyone and had books made up w pictures that went w all of their poems and everyone in my family got one for Christmas.Even siblings, so that was my bucket list thing to do before I left this world and so happy it's done. I like the structure of your poem. You begin with general words to all your grandchildren, to dedicate one verse to each grandchild. Please get it printed out and send it to your grandchildren or write it on a postcard, so that they will have a precious souvenir.

Thank you Joanna, and I may do that, yet I have already written poems about each of them, starting out on the first page with my poem,
"My Prayer for My Family" then my husband, kids (many years ago) their spouses, each grandbabe, all of my living siblings, and tributes to my mother and father. Then I put them all into a book, gave each two large pages of pictures that went with the words of their poem and named the book, "Expressing Love for My Family" with my Prayers, Poems and Pictures. Lol, my youngest grandson loves his hockey and is his passion, so all of his hockey gear is what he loves the most.....When you mentioned keeping the grandbabes poems updated, I just have to share this with you because we are good enough friends, even though you have no idea who I am right now. Haha!
