The poem is rather lifeless; they need the hands of power to save the earth. At least the powerful will step in and He will make life better than what the image displays. To have a world that is lifeless would mean death.

well, it must be my naivete, but I don't really understand it, but I like it. I like the use and combination of terms I may not always be familiar with.

I am definitely not a fan of this style of poetry. I think the small syllable counts leave a lot unsaid and often look just like a list of words. Good luck in the contest.
