haiku (Monets Garden)
Val Crisson your entry for the haiku as you are referring to Monet's panting of a spring garden with your words of how you are unpressed with
the beauty of the garden

I love the sense of humor conveyed in your haiku. I could see you smiling while writing that last line. Just goes to prove those Japanese structures don't always have to display somber images! Thanks for sharing.

We've been there too, money's paintings are unique, when I heard of Andy Warhol artwork of Marilyn Monroe, of $281,000,000 I was flabbergasted, I wouldn't put it in the same class as Monet's work, or darden. Beautifully written blessings Roy

Hello Val :)
I really enjoyed reading your haiku.
Lovely continuation through lines one into two and a wonderful satori line, which is both statement and clever wordplay.
Your words are descriptive, creating clear imagery and your subtle use of alliteration is a nice touch.
Good luck in the contest.
Best wishes as always, Debra

Beautiful review, Debra

Excellent haiku form and use of words that creates a picture of Monet's garden. "Quite the impression" is a perfect last line that sums up the first two lines.
