Chris,
So glad you told me about this one! I guess I have read most of these since you began posting them - or at least since I've ever known about them. These are a highlight of my whole year. hahahha Yay!

Oh you rudie nudie, dodging prickles in the rose bush. I admire your sense of fun. Your husband's comment a few years ago has started an annual tradition. It can get quite chilly in May DownUnder. I hope your toosh kept warm and I also hope you clipped your bush into an appealing shape. I guess the only reason your husband doesn't join in is that he has b--lls, or else he's not the family gardener.

Thank Lisa and yes one must hold up this now tradition for me It was quite cold so no sun on my toosh ha ha except for leaves and dirt when I stumbled getting up from my native garden Ha ha My husband and me were in hysterics ( No photos of that though)
We all needed a good laugh and my antics did bring many smiles
Cheers Chrisx
-
Hysterics were probably aided by the contrast to unhappiness of your Mum's death.
-
Yes I think so Mum did love my nude gardening day and pics I am sure she was smiling too x

'World Nude Gardening Day', is an extremely well-written and entertaining piece. To me this is a six! This talented poet's work was a pleasure to both read and review. I look forward to seeing your next post.

A laugh? I'm guffawing...and I haven't guffawed in years! Good for you, brave soul! I think I'd be ever so much afraid of those prickly rose bushes, not to mention the bugs flying about! I hope your husband knows, now, not to "dare" you! This is hysterical! Love what you've done to the garden...you wear it so well!
SMILES!

Hi Karenina, Thanks you and I am pleased you had a good laugh as we did also during photos One was taken in my Native garden and when getting up from my perched position I stumbled and fell backwards ending up on my toosh with secetares pointing upwards Greg and me were hysterical however upon rising out of my fallen place, Apparently I then had dirt and leaves stuck to my toosh( No photo of that though lol)
No bugs about and we always have fun during this day
It was a trifle cold so glad I didn?t have make appendages ha ha
Cheers Chris

Every time I think I heard everything, someone surprises me with something else. Who on earth would invent such a day. Well, I suppose it's quite biblical to be in a garden and in nothing but your birthday suit.
I enjoyed reading this. Your rhythm made this poem flow from beginning to end. Best regards, Lilly

This is so hilarious! Is that a real thing, or did your husband just make it up? Anyway, it made me laugh, so thank you for choosing to share this here. Best wishes.

I used to hear of people participating when I lived in the Northeast, never joined in. Fun little poem to commemorate an unusual day for gardening. Hope you wore sunscreen.

Hi Chris :)
I just knew I'd find you here in the buff this Saturday!!
I enjoyed reading your poem - it made me laugh, especially the bit about you not having b-lls!
Well written in good meter and rhyme.
Enjoy the day, hope it's not too chilly! I'll be keeping my clothes on, don't want to frighten the neighbour's children!
Best wishes as always, Debra :)
ps: Love that your nail polish matches your trowel and the little flowers just behind you!
