The more you write and read, the more you want to write and read:-) I never thought of myself as a poet until I joined this site a few months ago, but have been inspired by the work of others.
Nice 15 syllable poem, and the picture of water with it speaks to the unquenchable aspect. Plenty of water here!

I can relate. My first efforts at writing were in poetry. Then, I stopped writing poetry and moved on to prose. I have always written, but writing prose has been an entirely different adventure for me. I do have a great deal of respect for good poets and it's clear from this offering that you have a definite talent for it.
