Your example illustrated your theme well. I enjoyed reading
your post. Your words were well thought out and presented
in a way all could understand. Man has free will, so of course
God grieves when man shows hate to others in so many ways
that we are seeing worldwide.
Respectfully, Jan

Hello Dennis,
For myself, the doubt comes when I struggle with the same issues again and again. It seems that if one has the Holy Spirit, a complete change of life would occur, but for me at least that hasn't happened. The flip side is that I spent ten years on a Christian community that believed they were going to walk into perfection and never suffer physical death. There was a lot of legalism, it can be quite confusing at times. Needless to say, people died, and they still aren't perfect, and I most certainly am not. I can't allow myself to over think the scripture though. It causes me to go into a terrible depression. Thanks for sharing Dennis.
Have a blessed day.

You really need to understand believers have two natures. One is of the flesh and has nothing good in it. In God?s sight, it was crucified with Christ.
Our new nature is sinless like Christ so the Holy Spirit can abide there forever.
What?s tripping you up is your awareness of the presence of the old sinful nature in all of us. He never changes so had to die and is dead in God?s sight though much alive to us.
Please consider this verse as the way out of your mental struggle: "Likewise you also, reckon yourselves to be dead indeed to sin, but alive to God in Christ Jesus our Lord.
Romans 6:11 - NKJV
Reckon means count on it: you are fully righteous before God forever, because Christ took your sin and clothed you in His righteousness.
Work at believing this!
God bless, Dennis

This is a strong write. Emotional, and full of love for
your faith. Maybe consider an image or photo, it really
can add a great deal to the overall presentation.
I applaud your honesty and writing from the heart,

It's amazing how people supposedly "believe" in God, but really don't. There was a TV show yesterday on some local "clever" trying to work out if they believed, firstly, and secondly how knew, several clever theories, but no one really believed according to my understanding, even so called Christians had decided there is a God, one can't just "decide" as you know, it's spiritually discerned, and we aren't spiritual, unless God gives life. Beautifully written Dennis, thank you, blessings Roy.

It is true that all believers at times question their security. The enemy does a great job of creating doubt as he did in the Garden of Eden. Remember the trial of your faith is more precious than gold or silver. I Peter 1:7

The fires of trials purify the gold and all glory to God for giving His Son, the Lord of lords and King of kings for our redemption. God bless you, Dennis

So true. God wants to do wonderful and miraculous things for all of us who believe, but we are just tying His hands back. This presentation is wonderfully written and I am Amening it! R56ma3:Susan C.

This is a beautiful piece. It really brings me back to sweet memories. It also represents issues we even have in the modern world today. I hope you continue to share your work with our community and others.

Wonderful news, my brother. I truly felt the passing from death to life when I came out of the baptismal waters in 1971. Oh, glorious day! Sending you my best today as always and blessings in Christ,
Sally :))
