you are absolutely right, of course. One's conscience is a valuable thing. It will sit there on your shoulder and tell you if you've done right or not, and drive you crazy if you haven't. This story is a good example of karma.

Compelling and thought-provoking with a heartwarming ending. As to your breaking a confidence--how distressing there was such a fall-out--seems to me you were entitled to discuss it with an unrelated party, who broke her promise to you.

Well, I have to admit, I have felt the same way about finding something when I was a child. I don't remember what it was, but I do remember I HAD to give it up, and yes, the feeling of doing the right thing was wonderful!

I loved reading those stories that was beautiful. in college I took a class in Asian philosophy and the professor taught an entire section on karma and the actual meaning of it, it was by far the most interesting thing I learned in college. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing

I loved reading those stories that was beautiful. in college I took a class in Asian philosophy and the professor taught an entire section on karma and the actual meaning of it, it was by far the most interesting thing I learned in college. I really enjoyed this. Thank you for sharing

Thank you. Yeah, I like the shorter paragraphs too. Some of the stuff I read on here has mile-long paragraphs all jumbled together. I find it extremely difficult to read when stories are presented in that manner.
