I like how you gave us two concrete and personal examples of karma from your own life. Personally, I think your niece should have contacted your co-worker to find out the truth instead of the school. But then you did say you would keep it to yourself. I can understand why you needed to share. Your friend shouldn't have shared it either.
I like that your conscience moved you to do the right thing about the ring. It is customary in many cultures to give money to someone who finds and returns a lost item. Best wishes in the contest!

I've spoken out of turn. I've regretted it. Likewise, a good deed done, the "RIGHT" thing done is a reward in itself!
We make ripples in our pond of life... best to make them gently!
