City parks are a wonderful place to play when there is no pandemic. Many have been wiped down, perhaps some are not being used as of yet. Good place for family reunions, too.

Where did those days go and why can't we recover them once more? We have grandkids, friends, club members. Gee, we can even invite friends from Fanstory. Wouldn't that be delightful?

Yes it would. I know those days of my youth were tumultuous in many ways like today, but everything still seemed more innocent. Thanks for reading my poem. :)

This is a super poem that brought back many happy childhood memories for me - it is so typical of my own family playtimes. I expect this poem to win - it is so sweetly relatable and well written.

Great rhyming and a great poem about childhood days. You made good use of the words they provided and revived a lot of memories of what life was like as a child.

This is a wonderful contest in which many styles and subjects are creatively woven into different types of poems made by talented individuals. I like your take on this challenge and it brings back memories of my own like yours. You did a really great job with this and made it into something of your own, but that so many can identify with. This is written really well, definitely in the running to win! Good luck to you!

Thank you for those wonderful 6 stars and your thoughtful review. It's about a park that was about 4 blocks away from our building, on the south side of Chicago. I really appreciate you reading my poem....thanks again. :)
