I am not a golfer. It is a game that seems to provoke mild-mannered people to curse and mutter in their pursuit of skill and accuracy. I can imagine how this situation would have inflamed the golfer at the realisation he'd hit the wrong ball. Very funny.

The golfer who thought he had made a hole in one, and it turned out it was not his ball he used. So now what do they do? Start the process over again being he shot somebody's ball, but not his.

Oops. Dq'd before the next hole if not replayed from the original position. Spent half my life trying not to duplicate that feat but I have on two occasions since 1957. Not so bad.
