You have some great advice in your poem about dreams, both of an actual or imaginary kind. I love the personification in the very first line: A dream is the child of imagination. Well done!

I had not thought of dreams of aspiration when I entered this contest. I am glad you went where Enterprise did as often as Spock and Kirk. Very well expressed, and best of luck. You should promote this to pick up votes. I know I hate paying Payola, too.

Great rhyming and well-chosen words for this contest. Your last verse is very inspirtional:
"Most everyone has a dream in their heart,
either for themselves or someone they hold dear.
The best you can do to help dreams to last
is believe in yourself, carry on without fear"
