Our Travel To ND
by aryr

I wish I could travel across the USA. I only lived in California. I visited shortly in New York, Boston, Idaho, and Oregon. Oregon is beautiful. If it wasn't for my kids, I would moved to the Oregon coast.

You are a traveling gypsy LoL good for you.
My granddaughter travelled from Florida to California by herself! Well, her little corgi kept her company. :) Blessed be.

Thank you Gypsy, so much for reviewing and your great comments. I was in the northern part of California, Jim had the need to see the Pacific Ocean. Oregon was beautiful. Wow your granddaughter made the trip from Florida to California, good for her. Blessed be n hugs!

It must be awkward having different traffic laws in the various states. At least there were two of you so you could cope.

This was another interesting account of your travels. As you entered California I was hoping I might recognise some of the places I visited on my recent tour of that state, from the Redwood forests of the north to Malibu Beach in the south but you were in and out of it too quickly.

just one little point for correction: 'what ever' should be one word 'whatever'.

Thank you so much Jim for reviewing and your kind comments. I will make that correction in a moment. Wow and I missed you, I was in Medford, Oregon. We even went to Cressent City, California, so Jim could put his feet in the Ocean.

You have a great life traveling from state to state, Alie. :) I know it's not perfect but as long as both of you can enjoy life that is what counts. When I was younger a long time ago, our family when to Montana to work the sugar beet fields. We were in Foresight, Montana. (I think it's spelled right?) Anyway, we were close to Yellowstone Park and we fished in the Yellowstone. It was beautiful. Thanks for sharing.

That was a nice adventure to another new home, Ali. I don't think we ever stayed in Menoken, but I remember our stay in Bismark well. It was snowing when we woke up in the morning and we had trouble climbing the hill up from the park! lol
I have a few suggestions: Could you add some imagery to your travel stories, so we can visualize what the area looks like? It would add interest. I'd also take a look at the following sentence. It's a little confusing:
"The nice thing is that both FedEx and UPS deliver to the site if you put it on your delivery form. Otherwise, they deliver it to our site, since we have requested a permanent site, so we can transfer it to you."

One typo: "The laundry room which (was) comprised..."

Hello Alie.

You certainly do live an interesting life. For 45 years in my career, I traveled every week. I've been in all but three states. These days, my wife has to prod me to go to the grocery store.

There's an admiration for people who are willing and able to live a life involving that much travel and relocation. It sounds to me as though you are quite good at it. I don't know many people that are. The writing's very good and you need to be assembling these into a book.

Robert

When we visited our daughter in Queensland we discovered there were different rules for Covid than in our state, one would think the rules were uniform, we only have seven states, you have 50, I understand those road rules must be a bummer, isn't it the same country? Heh heh, thanks for sharing this fabulous post, blessings Roy

It sounds as if you lead an adventurous life. Do you write travel stories? There is quite a market for them both in magazines and online. Best wishes and a fair wind behind you.

Thank you for sharing about your long trek back to North Dakota! You are amazing to drive such a long distance! So glad that you are old pros knowing all the camp grounds. Yes, I should have warned you that you can't pump your own gas in OR. I personally liked it. But you're more capable than I am with these things.

Thank you for reviewing and your fantastic comments, Helene. Yes we are back to our old stomping grounds. Oh, Jim had already advised me that we would be able to pump our own gas. It was a shock at first but like you, I liked it. I think it bothered Jim more. Hugs n smiles.

How fortunate you are to travel as you do. Do you have Tabitha with you now? If you ever need an old lady to tidy up and manage things, put my name at the top of the list. I can drive a big rig, too.

Wow, you never cease to amaze me, Yvonne. Yes, we have Tabitha with us, always, until she dies. Oh, it's a manual big rig. Thank you so much for reviewing and your fantastic comments.

You wrote an interesting little story about your trip, aryr. I enjoyed reading it. I imagine you have seen many beautiful sights in all your travels. Do you take picture of those? The RV parks sound safe. How's your kitty?
Respectfully, Jan

We went to Roseburg, Oregon,[ not sure if this comma is needed ] on March 12, 2022, before taking the trip across country.

The laundry room which comprised of two washers and two dryers [was ] were up and running, as were the two rest rooms and showers. Sorry they are not co-ed, a simple men's and women's.

Thank you so much Jan for reviewing and your great comments and suggestions. I will fix those in a moment. Tabitha is fine, she rides with Jim in the truck and when I join him, we are a happy family. She has water and crunch daily.
