Thank you for the love you show toward your husband, author. :) You are right in saying opposites attract, for if everyone was the same it would be a boring marriage. Just think about it, you wake up from the same side of the bed, wear the same color clothes, look the same in the mirror and have the same kind of job. No challenge in life. This is a good entry for the Love Contest. Thank you for sharing.

A lovely poem of love to celebrate your wonderful relationship. My only suggestion is that all the capitals are for me unnecessary and a distraction but that's just me. It's your poem and your choice of course. It has smooth flow and good rhyme. I send my best wishes for the contest.

When my husband was alive, he was in control of the remote. And I could not stand it, but now, if only I had him here, I would not care what he watched. I wish you and yours many more years.

Carolyn, I almost wrote, that as much as we don't agree, I'm so thankful that his chair isn't empty in the evening. When I get Angry with him, I remind myself of that & it chills me horribly! Please know that my heart aches for your loss, even though we've only been fellow writers for a short time, but I've come to care for you as a friend the last couple weeks. I think back about many things, little things. The house I live in now has three living rooms with a television.
So my daughter and I do not fight over the remote, lol I wish you the best.
