There's never a dull moment for Alex. I thought she over-reacted to the mention of Cordero's girlfriends. After all, they've not actually been dating until the restaurant scene. Cord is very forthcoming with in explaining the circumstances. Pat is looking more and more like a man Alex is lucky not to have married. Her over-reaction shows she must have pretty strong feelings for Cordero. Excellent description of Cordero's version of events. It seems there's always some emergency that calls Cord away. He keeps busy. judi

Pat was the man in this scene. He's a really bad guy. We will discover more. Ali was more concerned about being 'the other woman' than anything and Cord understood that. Her ex-fiance will enter a little later. He's horrible too.

I'm so glad that's all sorted. What a creep that Pat is, and as for Maggie, well she should have known better than to do what he asked. I really enjoyed this chapter, and the light show. We went up to Norway, and cruised the fjords in the hope we'd see the lights, but we didn't. Cord was right about the night sky having to be perfect to see them. Well done, my friend. Pat is showing himself to be a pretty bad hombre. Despicable is more like it I think. I am well pleased that Cord was able to convince Ali that he is innocent of the false charges made against him. I hope he gets the chance to throttle Pat at some time in the future. He appears to be a liar and a racist, among other things all bad.
