Well, it's a very eloquent
fictional story to me. I really
enjoyed reading this. I hope
you keep penning for a long
time. May you have a splendid early spring weekend. ~

Thank you Regina. My plan for the future is to write as much and as often as I can.

Your story in a poem reads well. I enjoyed reading it. Your rhymes work well, the flow is smooth, and the story told probably is true of a lot of folks. Thanks for the notes, but I believe you would have listed this as biographical if about you.
Thanks for sharing.
Respectfully, Jan

Thank you for your review. Please believe me, I was much more of a devil growing up, so this would have never been written about me.

This short told a story of good verses temptation, yet at the end I am glad that the family united, and Im sure many parents suffer from choices children make.

I enjoyed reading your poem. The photo pulled me in and your writing held me until the end. The rhymes and pace work well here and create a nice flow down the page. Well done

Great example of following God's will. The author's words are interesting,
heartfelt, joyful and creative. I really like the last stanza because
for me anything is possible with God. The poem flows and connects
well. The artwork is perfect and compliments this poem.
Hope you are doing well!....Maria

I love this with so many witty nuances it had me reading every word. Although, it is fiction it has happened so many times, as many strong Christians are taken away from their calling by the wiles of a woman, and women of faith are also susceptible. I love the ending. God bless Laura.

So Righteous-Lee had a son and named him Obvious Lee.
This is a very humorous poem, nomi. Proof you can't plan a persons life for them. They lost a son but gained a grandson. Gods reward for their efforts in the first place. Well done. Nancy:)

Nomi,
I really enjoyed this one. The story was told so well in rhyme and it is a story as old as time. Those treacherous she wolves can take down a good man. I couldn't help but think of the prodigal (grand)son. Great job.
Sue
P.S. I really liked the boy's name!

I enjoyed reading this poem. It does seem that a female can turn a boy's heart away from the Lord. Of course, it does work the other way too. I have seen it go both ways and I'm sure you have. But we are promised, if we raise them in the way of the Lord, even though they misstep, they will return. I am sure the father taught his son what was right, that's why he knocked on the door.

You are absolutely correct. The big thing is to train them while you have the most influence over them. It is too late when they reach an age where they realize they do not have to listen or obey you.

Even the most devout believer's shortcomings uncovered in times of weakness. It's happened to most all of us. I'm a sucker for happy endings, and in life there seems to be so few these days. But as the old saying goes, "There's better times a coming, I know." Thanks for sharing.
