I love this poem! Your cat is precious and sets the tone immediately. I think Crosby Stiles Nash and Young will understand. This is very creative and made me smile.

Hello,
-A very fun piece to read, especially now it's to time.
-I count 15 mice in total? Very clever device to distract us without deterring us from the central theme: We go through it all for love of cats. (that's what I pick up on from this piece any way)
-Strong on humour and playful tone.
Well done. Have a nice evening.

I always LOVED that song! Your poem is really delightful and appealing. That is a beautiful cat--appears to be posing for its picture. Yes, pets can have fun while we deal with the IRS! :-)

Yes, she is a cute cat and often poses sweetly. I suspect she knows how cute she is! Thank you for the review.

You did a wonderful job with this parody. And what a beautiful cat. I'm happy she/he is off the streets. They need a place to belong. Great job with this well written piece.

Thank you, John. As most rescue animals do, she has saved me.

Dear Terry,

Each to his or her own. For a cat is a cat who is a mouser and a person who does taxes is a person who renders to Ceasor what is his. LOL

Regards,

Winslow
