This yanks at my heart too. I have lost some dear people and I feel the same way. I wish I could hug them and tell them how much I love them once again. We tend to take it for granted we will see them again. Tell them often and let them know while they are here. We don't get second chances on that. Well done, Joanne. Nancy:)

This is a lovely prayer and a great entry for the club. We have lost a lot of loved ones these past two years, and I know the Lord understands our sorrow and grief. But He is the God of all comfort and gives us peace knowing that we will see them again.

Please look around and find others who are feeling the same. . .missing family and friends, then find someone to share all that love you have bundled up inside. There's a reason we are still here, gotta spread that love to others who also need it. Good luck with this writing.

Thank you this poem was personal I lost 4 real close loved ones in 2 years but my heart goes out to everyone who is going through the same thing. That?s just my personal journey. Didn?t mean to suggest otherwise. I do empathize with others. Thank you again.

I can relate. In one year I lost 4 family members and 1 friend. . . it's just soooo

A powerful prayer that holds a deep well of grief. Losing loved ones is hard to bear, but having one's religion as a support and God's ear in times such as this can be a great comfort.

Lord will you help me to be strong and be my guide each day.
Help me heal my broken heart and feel joy in some small way.
