This is the first poem I have seen in this unique style and I think it's effective, charming, and excellent.
As time goes by, some of us get cynical about love and life;
Your poem is timeless, in that your actors are sweet, someone naive and much in love.

Of the five entries so far, every one has hits five stars and the target on the head. I especially like the thought written herein of this stanza:
I love you more than the whole universe,
if I could do it, time, I'd reverse.
I'd meet you sooner, more moments we'd spend,
with each breath, I love you more, can't pretend.
and with that said I believe line two can be better written:
and if I could inverse time, it'd be reversed... perhaps.

I don't think there should be any rivalry in a partnership, but you've convinced me in this poem it would be okay if it was a rivalry to be more loving, to love the best. Nice poem, well written, natural flow and good rhyming.

You did a good job of writing romantically and declaring your love for each other. Although the last line suggests problems in the future if she is so competitive that she has to win.
