I love morning glories. Your poem is sweet and so true. Good job, Mystery Author, with the syllable count per line. The image is beautiful. Have you ever planted moon flowers? The open in the evening. I've stood and watched as they open--amazing. Best wishes in the contest.
Maybe replace the 'for' with 'from' in the last line.
