This indeed was an amazing free verse, Gypsy. I enjoyed the picture of the sunset, it was majestic. I really loved your words because they showed that you were not afraid to die and that you will live on and on through your children and their children. Forever. Very well done, greatly enjoyed. Blessed be n hugs.

I do not write good free verse, but I appreciate those who do! This is a very moving, lovely, heartwarming poem. It conveys a sincere wish to be remembered when nature's soothing elements are being observed and felt.

This is so gorgeously written as well as presented. I can't say enough about the feeling it pulls from your insides. It will be hard to feel things as they are after this read, especially if you've lost a loved one.

Thank you very much, John. I appreciate your excellent review and kind feedback. I wrote it for my children to read in my funeral of ashes over the sea. I don't plan to die for a very long time but I want to be prepared.

This may be the first writing of yours I have read. I see you're a Haiku creator. This was a good set of thoughts to share. .................................................................

Another fine free verse poem, Gypsy--and a comforting thought, that we've touched someone and are still a part of their life, gives our struggle through life meaning

This is a great poem. Dust in the wind. Ashes floating around like a free bird. I like the thought. You have a great idea in your poem. Thank you for posting. Stay safe.

Yes, I think we are sewn into our chidren's/grand's DNA irrevocably, there will be, in a sense, eternalisation within their essence and physical being, as we are sown into God, through Christ. Beautifully written, Blessings Roy

Gypsy,
This poem is a good free free verse poem that reminds us the mourning can end and that love is eternal. The missed person can always be found in those he/she left behind and in the beauty of nature.
Keep writing and stay healthy.
Joan

This is sweet and tenderly written with the soul of someone who knows what she wants to say to her children and grandchildren as well. This is very descriptive and uses poetic devices to accent a rhythm all of its own. You know how to write free verse and it shows.
Thank you for sharing your wishes for when you die. When I die I want the same thing as you and more besides...I want to ride in the wind and surf on the waves. I hope to be around through my writing for a million years. To be immortal is a wish we share.
Both of us know the value and meaning of friendship and share a thought or two with each other from time to time.
Let us continue to do that and to live on forever!
Jesse

Jesse, you got the meaning of my poem. I am studying Buddhism and I was thinking about the things the teacher said about death. There is no end to life. We just transition to another form. And we live in our loved ones. It's a lovely thought. I noticed that we have many things in common. I will give you my email address and you may write to me any time about whatever is on your mind. I will send you the info to your private message.

Thank you very much for reviewing my poem. I am happy it touched you.
