Oh my goodness, I'm thinking a LOT of people must have read this and nodded in agreement. I'm thinking of the time a chiropractor twisted me up like a pretzel. This poem is excellent--skillfully written, descriptive and smile-worthy, just what the prompt requested. Love that ending

Thanks, Janice. The first few times I went, I was a little nervous, but I just relax now and wait for the snap.

and I bet it did.
A humorous tale, although picturing in my mind what he was doing to you, sent chills up MY spine.
I have heard about men having problems from sitting on their wallets, but none expressed as delightfully as in your experience.
I've never been to a chiropractor, and now...? But you did make me smile. Good luck in the contest.

Thanks, Katharine. I go to my chiropractor once a month. He is a good guy. I gave him a framed copy of this poem.

This definitely made me smile. And, you had me feeling the pain, contortions, and relief. If it were me, I'd be happy to lighten my wallet by paying the man. Worth every penny. I love the ironic way that you portrayed the chiropractor.
This poem is a winner.

Well first off this rhymed very well and I absolutely like the ending!
My daughter worked for a chiropractor and they would put an entry box in Ocean County Mall in toms River New Jersey and everybody that put the entry in one a free visit.
It wasn't to have done what your home stated it was for a massage.
But the idea is once you get them on the office you try to get them to come back of course cuz the money's made when you're having adjustments.
Now we can see in your particular instance your chiropractor was really good at it!
Good luck with this one.

I enjoyed reading this contest entry. Yes, this entry caused me to smile as I read so I would say it's the perfect entry. I am not fond of chiropractors because of one who was the team doctor for one of my son's football team. He did some permanent damage. But that has nothing to do with you or this review. Good luck with the contest, but I'd say you nailed it.

Thanks, Barb. There are some bad ones out there. I have a good one that I see once a month.
