What a heartfelt poem written with a delicate hand. I love the artwork you chose as it set the tone before the first was read. You tugged on my heart which is not easy to do, thank you for that.

This was a very heartfelt piece. It really communicates the sorrow of loss very well. The last two line in particular really help relate the feeling of conflicted hope one can feel.

Such a heartfelt poem, beautiful words expressing beautiful feelings. There is nothing quite like a lost love, is there? The questions here are questions only those experiencing deep loss of deep love can feel. I feel your pain ... I share those feelings. Thank you for expressing them so beautifully.

I lost mine seventeen years ago; she was eighty, I STILL want to call her because we talked daily. Your poem is so lovely, descriptive, and moving. Nobody's ever ready to see them go.

It's a beautiful poem. I absolutely love the last two lines. They sum up so well how we cling to hope in times of loss. You owe yourself a happy poem so go find one today.
