Wow that is a hardcore prompt you had to deal with. Not only did you have to keep it under 30 words. but they force fed you nine of them. Very nice job. Good luck in the contest.

I hesitated in awarding six stars only because it is labelled fiction. You absolutely nailed the rules god to a tree.
I sometimes wonder if the contest host didn't write a piece, count the words, identify odd, unrelated words within, and then describe a contest that their own ... No, nobody would do that. Would they?
It's funny that the instructions to the contestants and reviewers are more words than the qualifying submission.

This is a short but true definition of what God does. He answers prayers that are good for your life and soul and for the others around you. Not just what you think you need or want.
